Mercedes Benz has officially launched the 2014 S65 AMG at
the 2013 Tokyo Auto show few recently. The car is basically the most
expeditious beast of the brute version (S63 AMG) of the company’s commanding
model of today, the S-Class.
The acme of the buzz around S65 AMG would be its
6.0 litre Bi-turbo V12 machine under its hood, capable of producing a
mouth-watering output of 630hp and 1000 Nm of max torque. This long wheel-based S-Class is ultra-refined by its exclusive
AMG touch, and is said to accelerate 0-100 kmph in just 4.3 secs with a top
speed of 250 km/h. With a Co2 emission of 279 g/km, the S65 is claimed to be
the world’s most-fuel efficient V12, which is already compliant to EU6 emission
standards of 2015.
The USP highlights of the car includes AMG’s pro-performance
7G-TRONIC gearbox, suspension with Road Surface Scan, speed-sensitive steering
with variable steering ratio, AMG
carbon-ceramic braking system (optional), light-weight Lithium-ion battery saving 20 kgs, carbon-fibre
engine cover and light-alloy wheels both forget with AMG badging.
The S65 AMG, which was also debuted at the 2013 Los Angeles Motor Show simultaneously last week, will reach German showrooms by March next year with a price tag of 232,050 Euros (INR 1.95 crores).
So what?? Time for a royal game isn't it?? Little latter in India though.
