The much awaited Ducati XDiavel Cruiser bike range is now on sale in India, available at company's five exclusive dealerships across the country. Launched in two trims - XDiavel and XDiavel S, this power cruiser is one of Ducati's most advanced motorcycle boasting a 1262cc engine, ride-by-wire system, multiple riding modes, traction control, ABS, etc. While the regular XDiavel is priced at INR 15,87,000, the spruced-up XDiavel S costs INR 18,47,000. All prices are Ex-showroom, Delhi.
This Italian-flavoured cruiser is powered by 1262cc 4-valve V-twin Ducati Testastretta DVT engine that revs up to 156 hp at 9,500 rpm and 128.9 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Since bikes like these typically require plenty of low-end torque, more than 98 Nm of torque is on tap right from as low as 2,100 rpm. The motor is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a hydraulic, multi-plate slipper clutch. Ducati's advanced launch control system 'Power Launch' is available in XDiavel, which can be activated with the press of a button on the handlebar. The bike also comes with 3 riding modes - Sport, Touring, and Urban - each delivering varied engine response for easy rideability and shifting.

Safety systems offered in the XDiavel includes 8 level Ducati Traction Control, Bosch Cornering ABS, and Cruise Control. Its ergonomics offer four different foot peg positions for better cornering clearance, along with multiple seat and handlebar positioning options. There is also a 3.5-inch TFT colour display with multiple display modes to keep the rider informed on important ride data. The system also features Bluetooth connectivity with smartphones.
The new Ducati presents a sophisticated styling that stands apart from any other cruiser motorcycles. Particularly, the XDiavel S is way glitzy from the regular model with wider black spoke alloys, billeted rear-view mirrors, forged foot peg plates, and few other exterior paint graphics. The Day-Time running LED with optical lights are standard in both the trims. Standard paint job includes Dark Stealth for the XDiavel, and Thrilling Black for the XDiavel S variant.
Notably, just few weeks back, the company launched its flagship adventure touring motorcycle Multistrada 1200 Enduro in India.
