Hard to believe, the 2016 Auto Expo is awaiting to witness 85 new launches (comparing to 70 models launched at 2014 edition), with a speculated number of over 7 lakh visitors for the 5-day show starting from 5th February. The auto expo is a significant event not just for the industry, media, and motor-heads like most of you, but more specifically for the consumers as well. For those who are looking to buy a new car, the expo is the ideal place to have a look. The show previews cars that are launched right away, as well as all those cars that are to launched in the next 24 months. Therefore, the auto expo is definitely a look into the future!

Those new cars that are going to make a huge difference in the market (and industry as a whole) are not those eye-candy cars and luxury concepts, but are those that focus on the affordable or mass end of the market. These cars cater to a large share of buyers, and this year's expo have loads of such cars of the masses - Datsun Redi-Go, Tata 3-box compact sedan, Tata Nexon, VW Ameo, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Innova, etc.
But we do have tons of fashionable cars on the show. Take for instance the iconic Ford Mustang. Or the Mercedes S-Class Cabriolet. Not to forget the new Audi R8 and the Mercedes GLC crossover. Apart from cars, major CV giants and two-wheeler manufacturers are also waiting for their turn and share of attention.
On the whole, a frenzied weekend is awaiting us, and those visiting the show are sure to be walked-off their feets going from one end to another at the venue!
